No. 2, March/April 2009
If you are attending this year's Global NFC Business and Technical Developer's Summit, stop in and learn more about Raisonance tools for test and certification of your NFC products.
Benoit Hedou, Technical Director for the Raisonance Smart Card tool group, will be presenting "Making Secure, Universal, Reliable NFC - Challenges of handset component testing" on Friday at 11:20 AM.
Our demonstrations on stand C4 will include:
UICC SWP Emulation option now allows users to test the SWP interface of the ContactLess Front end (CLF) on an NFC capable mobile handset by emulating the signals of the UICC (5). This new option makes it possible to test all layers of the CLF including low level Host Controller Interface (HCI) (transport, link management gate, administratin gate, etc.) and the Simplified High Level Data Link Control (SHDLC) (ACT frames, link establishment, data flow, etc.) layer. In addition, built in emulation of the SHDLC for local processing of transactions on the ContactLAB platform ensures respect of timing constraints during testing.
Updating a ContactLAB platform with UICC SWP emulation capability is a done via a fast easy firmware upgrade and new software installation.
Raisonance provides PCD test assemblies covering both high and low-speed analog level test requirements. All test assemblies are designed to correspond to the relevant ISO 10373-6 test specification for test and certification of contactless smart cards.
Raisonance follows the evolution of test standards closely in order to provide the most up to date test tools. A new version of our High Speed Test PCD Assembly is now available and corresponds to proposed modifcations of the current standards which are currently under review.
Existing test assemblies include:
Smart Card Tool News is a bi-monthly publication containing news and information about Raisonance laboratory and validation tools for the Smart Card industry. It includes notifications of the latest software downloads, including RPGA and tool firmware. It is sent to users and visitors registered on the Raisonance internet site, www.sc-raisonance.com.
