NFC Mobile Phone Conformity Testing and Certification

ProxiLAB3 - NFC

ProxiLAB3 provides fully configurable signal emulation for testing NFC mobile handsets that implement a ContactLess Front-end (CLF) using 13.56 Mhz signalling protocols. This includes, as options, the choice to emulate PICC and/or PCD signals using:

  • ISO 14443 (A, B) protocols (digital-level control only)
  • NFC, FeliCa or ISO 15693 protocols (digital-level control only)
  • Any of the above protocols with Analog-level control of signal parameters

Providing features as options allows ProxiLAB3 users to have a tool configured for their current test requirements. However, ProxiLAB3 is easily adapted to meet a user's future test requirements by simply buying the desired functional licenses.

For smart card testing in accordance with relevant NFC standards, ProxiLAB3 is used with the Raisonance High-Speed test assembly (final approval pending) designed in conformance with relevant NFC test standards.

For testing NFC mobile phones, ProxiLAB3 hardware provides signal emulation for testing the phone in active mode (PICC emulation), passive mode (PCD emulation) of peer-to-peer mode (both PICC and PCD).

What to Order for Contactless Smart Card Testing

Users can order the ProxiLAB3 hardware (Order code: SC-ProxiLAB-HW) with any of the following signal emulation capabilities:
