ProxiSPY combines support for a wide range of protocols, non-intrusive signal capture technology, advanced protocol analysis and exceptional ease-of-use, in a platform that is ideal for testing contactless card and reader interoperability.

ProxiSPY

Non-intrusive signal capture and analysis with plug-and-play ease-of-use

ProxiSPY and the Raisonance Generic Protocol Analyzer (RGPA) provide a complete breakdown of captured signals between contactless smart cards and readers using a range of proximity and vicinity protocols. The RGPA, Windows-based display provides a view of captured signals at protocol, byte and bit levels.

The display provides markers that allow precise timing measures between signals of interest and navigation controls for rapid visual inspection of the capture. The displays are coordinated so that clicking on signals in the output window changes the trace display to show the item of interest.

When viewing the display or the output listing, accessing the protocol description of the signal of interest is as easy as a click of a mouse, which calls up a complete description of the signal completed with information about the current signal capture.

The tabbed display also provides convenient search mechanisms that aid navigation and viewing of the signals that are of interest to the user.

The statistical display provides crucial information about the timing of the actual captured signals, so that users can easily see exactly where signal implementation fails to correspond to protocol timing specifications.

ProxiSPY is the perfect data logger that can trap all exchanges up to 848 kb/s. Its software interface has been developed as an open platform to be easily integrated by third parties to perform protocol or application tests.

High-performance laboratory tool

ProxiSPY is the right complement to your laboratory equipment. It features one analog output and two digital outputs for synchronization and/or signal measurement.

Its state of the art probes have been designed in collaboration with the CEA-LETI, a French National Institute in electronics, to combine “high sensitivity” and “transparency”. ProxiSPY probe technology provides improved signal detection and capture for protocol-level analysis, while minimizing the impact of the tool on PICC/PCD signals. An additional probe set has been specially designed to optimize signal capture on mobile handsets, notable for NFC 1&2 protocol analysis.
